Children’s Week 2019 is a national annual festival to be celebrated from Friday 18th to Sunday 27th October with the theme:
‘The right of the child to good quality health care- the best health care possible – to safe drinking water, nutritious food, a clean and safe environment and information to help them stay healthy. Rich countries should help poor countries achieve this.’

The Governor’s wife, Mrs Lan Le is Patron and His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AO, is the National Patron.
The official launch of Children’s Week 2019 in South Australia will be held at a Primary School on Friday 18th October.
A diverse range of healthy lifestyle activities will be held throughout the state that focus attention of the wider community on children’s education, care and wellbeing and the recognition of children’s achievements.
Children’s Week has been celebrated in South Australia for the past 40 years and will be supported once again by the Government of South Australia (Department for Education.)
