Children’s Week is a national annual festival to be celebrated from Friday October 18th to Sunday October 27th with the theme:
“Children have the right to the best health care possible, clean water to drink, healthy food and a clean, safe environment to live in.”

The Governor and Mr Rod Bunten are Patrons and Governor General – David Hurley AC DSC, is the National Patron.

The official launch of Children’s Week 2024 in South Australia will be held on Friday 18th October.

A diverse range of healthy lifestyle activities will be held throughout the state that focus attention of the wider community on children’s education, care and wellbeing and the recognition of children’s achievements.

Children’s Week has been celebrated in South Australia for the past 40 years and will be supported once again by the Government of South Australia (Department for Education.)
