Children’s Week is a national annual festival to be celebrated from Friday October 20th to Sunday October 29th with the theme:
“Children and young people have the right to have fun in the way they want to, whether by playing sports, watching films….”

The Governor and Mr Rod Bunten are Patrons and Governor General – David Hurley AC DSC, is the National Patron.

The official launch of Children’s Week 2023 in South Australia will be held on Friday 20th October.

A diverse range of healthy lifestyle activities will be held throughout the state that focus attention of the wider community on children’s education, care and wellbeing and the recognition of children’s achievements.

Children’s Week has been celebrated in South Australia for the past 40 years and will be supported once again by the Government of South Australia (Department for Education.)
